Nick Gwyn

Director

Nick is the founder and owner of the-lick. He handles the day to day running of the company as well as visiting salon and barber partners on a weekly basis. After graduating from University, he found his passion working within the hairdressing and barbering industry and has done so for his 23 year career.

Peter Forshaw

Finance Director

Peter handles the accounting and administrative responsibilities of the company. Following a long career in field sales, he joined the-lick as Director from the companies outset and is an integral part of the behind the scenes running of the company.

Natalie Bell

Warehouse Manager

Natalie joined the company in 2016 and oversees the running of the premises on a daily basis. She has a wealth of varied experiences from her career which have given her the background knowledge to handle the management of most aspects of the busy warehouse and training venue.

Patrycja Manicka

Customer service

Patrycja joined the-lick in 2020 initially part time, but as business grew, her role and responsibilities grew and she quickly became a full time member of the team. Patrycja handles order processing, goods in, and is our field sales support contact as well as first contact customer service personnel. With the launch of our training room in 2021, her role and responsibilities continue to grow.

Scott Booker

Business Development Manager (South Yorkshire)

Scott is business development manager for the South Yorkshire region. His daily role involves being the main contact for all our salon and barbershop partners in that area whilst working on the road. New to the hairdressing and barbering sector in 2020, he has found an industry and role that suits his personal approach and determined attitude.

Becca Ward

Regional milk_shake Educator

Becca is our regional educator for the milk_shake brand handling in salon training sessions for our salon partners and technical advice. Having over 20 years hairdressing experience and working with the brand in her own salon, she brings not only good technical knowledge to our customers, but an empathetic approach to her teaching.
